CRRC 1.5MW Plateau Air-to-Air Cooled Double Fed Induction Generator

CRRC 1.5MW plateau air-to-air cooled doubly fed Induction generator is a high-capacity, high-efficiency power generation solution customized for high-altitude wind farms, delivering a rated output power of 1567 kW, a rated stator voltage of 690 V, and a rated rotating speed of 1735 rpm, paired with a 4-pole structure and an H-class insulation system. It has a center height of 500 mm and a total unit weight of 7600 kg.
Equipped with a 459 A rated rotor current and a wide speed range of ±30% of synchronous speed, this generator adopts a special non-top-drive ventilation air-to-air cooling structure with IP54 protection grade for stator and IP23 for slip ring chamber. It is engineered with exclusive bearing structure and insulation technology to effectively restrain bearing electrolytic corrosion; the windings adopt vacuum pressure impregnation and rotary baking technology with H-class insulation to extend service life. The isolated & sealed slip ring chamber ensures reliable bearing operation, while electromagnetic and electrical clearance design tailored for low air pressure plateau environments enables outstanding adaptability for wind farms at altitudes up to 3500 m and low-wind-speed regions, capturing and converting wind energy steadily under harsh plateau conditions.
As a mature doubly fed design with △/Y winding connection, it seamlessly integrates with industry-standard wind power converters to realize bidirectional energy flow and variable-speed constant-frequency power generation, ensuring reliable grid compatibility and long-term operational stability. The whole product has passed CGC certification.

Technical Requirements

When the voltage phase sequence of the three-phase power supply is the same as the order of the terminal letters U, V, W on the motor terminals, the motor shall rotate counterclockwise when viewed from the shaft extension end; the bearing grease shall be BEM41-141, the lubrication cycle of the front and rear bearings is 0.5g or a similar amount of lubricating oil to be added every 8 hours, and the specific operation shall refer to the centralized lubricator operation manual.
