CRRC 2.XMW Air-to-Air Cooled Doubly Fed Induction Generator
CRRC 2.XMW air-to-air cooled doubly fed Induction generator is a modular, wide-power-range high-efficiency power generation solution, covering rated output power from 2280 kW to 2600 kW, a rated rotating speed range of 1650~1820 rpm, a rated stator voltage of 690 V, and a 4-pole structure paired with an H-class insulation system, with a center height of 500 mm and a total unit weight of 7500 kg. It adopts IC616 air-to-air cooling mode, featuring IP54 protection grade for stator and IP23 for slip ring chamber, with a rotor open-circuit voltage of 2128V±20V and a rated efficiency of ≥96.5%.Designed without top-drive fan and built-in axial fan, this generator equips self-ventilated slip ring chamber with self-suction air duct to control carbon brush temperature below 85°C, and low-resistance air duct with dedicated ventilation blades to boost cooling efficiency. The integrated rotor winding design adopts integral welding and full dipping treatment; special bearing insulation material limits system capacitance below 0.1nF to block high-frequency current and restrain bearing electrolytic corrosion. Combined with forward design, modal simulation and experimental verification, it achieves low temperature rise, low vibration, low noise and low harmonic content, delivering stable energy conversion performance under extreme wind farm conditions including plateau, severe cold, high temperature, high humidity, sandstorm and coastal salt fog.As a mature doubly fed design with △/Y winding connection, it seamlessly integrates with mainstream wind power converter technologies. The motor features a top-less fanless, fanless design, based on a series platform, and can be modularly designed to meet user needs, offering various motor configurations and services to maximize user benefits.
It features an integrated, high-reliability rotor winding design, with the rotor winding and lead system integrally welded and impregnated.
The self-ventilated slip ring system chamber design utilizes a self-suction airflow path, allowing the carbon brush temperature to be controlled at 85℃.
A low-resistance air duct with special ventilation blades effectively improves cooling system efficiency.
Special materials are used to achieve a bearing insulation system capacitance of <0.1nF, enhancing high-frequency current blocking capability.
Through forward design, modal simulation optimization, and experimental verification, the motor achieves low temperature rise, low vibration, and low noise.
It can be widely used in various operating environments in onshore wind farms, including high-altitude, frigid, high-temperature, high-humidity, sandstorm, and salt spray conditions.

Technical Requirements
When the voltage phase sequence of the three-phase power supply is the same as the order of the terminal letters U, V, W on the motor terminals, the motor shall rotate counterclockwise when viewed from the shaft extension end; the bearing grease shall be BEM41-141, the lubrication cycle of the front and rear bearings is 0.5g or a similar amount of lubricating oil to be added every 8 hours, and the specific operation shall refer to the centralized lubricator operation manual.
