CRRC Shield Machine Drive Motor (110~400kW Series)

The shield machine drive motor features high torque, strong overload capacity, and a wide constant power range, making it suitable for all operating conditions of shield machines. The company has established a serialized and spectrum-based product line covering 45 to 400 kW, with over 3,000 units installed to date, delivering stable and reliable performance. We have built solid partnerships with leading customers such as China Railway Construction Heavy Industry, China Railway Engineering Equipment Group, and CCCC Tianhe.

In 2015, we successfully developed the world’s first permanent magnet drive motor for shield machines. To date, we hold a market share of over 80% at China Railway Construction Heavy Industry—a domestic leader in shield machines—and a 100% market share in the permanent magnet drive motor segment for shield machines. Shield machines equipped with our permanent magnet motors have demonstrated energy savings of more than 15% in field tests.
