CRRC TFW300-4 Main Generator
The CRRC TFW300-4 main generator is a high-performance main power component designed for 190 to 240 ton mining electric wheel dump trucks. It is part of CRRC’s serialized and modular mining electric wheel drive system. The series includes the TFW3002-4 model for 190-ton trucks with a rated capacity of 1300 kVA and the TFW3001-4 model for 240-ton trucks with a rated capacity of 1800 kVA. Both models run at a rated speed of 1900 rpm and a rated frequency of 126.7 Hz.As a core part of the electric wheel drive system for large mining dump trucks, it works with the YP820-6 wheel motor to form a complete power transmission chain that supports heavy-load operations in open-pit mines. The product has achieved import substitution and has been exported to markets including Chile and Australia. It has been widely applied in major mining areas such as Shenhua North China Mining Area and Shenhua Zhungeer Mining Area, and holds a market share of over 50 percent in the electric wheel dump truck drive motor sector.We offer comprehensive support for the motor, including customized matching for different tonnage dump trucks, on-site installation guidance, maintenance training, and spare parts supply, ensuring reliable operation in long-term heavy-load mining scenarios.

Ansoft software was used to simulate and calculate the generator’s operating behavior with a rectifier load and the brushless excitation circuit, improving design accuracy.
The brushless exciter’s rotating rectifier module adopts a radial arrangement, enhancing its resistance to centrifugal force at high speeds, while also facilitating module replacement and improving mechanical reliability and maintainability.

Ansys CFD software was used to simulate and calculate the flow field and temperature field of the self-ventilated main generator, optimizing the ventilation and heat dissipation design.
